2026 Golden Globes Best Beauty Looks

The first quarter of the year is arguably the most glamorous one. Thanks to the award season schedule, virtually every weekend from January to March has a high-profile red carpet event on the calendar. Of course, the celebrities attending come dressed to win, from getting decked out in designer gowns to piling on jaw-dropping fine jewelry to going full-glam with their hair and makeup. After last week’s warm up, care of the Critics’ Choice Awards, the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards are up. As one of the few award shows that honor both film and television, the red carpet is always stacked with Hollywood’s biggest stars, and of course, major fashion moments. Naturally, the 2026 Golden Globes best beauty looks are just as noteworthy.

Retro styles dominated the red carpet, especially in the hair department. Ayo Edebiri took the trendy butterfly bob for a spin, while Sheryl Lee Ralph’s voluminous high ponytail looked straight out of the ‘60s. Zoë Kravitz also channeled the decade with her braided updo that she accessorized with a crystal hair pin. There were also modern takes on winged liner looks aplenty. The eye makeup style was spotted on a number of stars, including Teyana Taylor, Odessa A’zion, and Ariana Grande.

Keep reading for TZR’s rundown of the most noteworthy hair and makeup moments spotted on the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet.

Leave it to Cyrus to put a high fashion spin on a classic makeup look. “We focused on lips and lashes to keep it fashion-forward but still red-carpet effortless. We added that subtle smoky, undone edge that’s so classically MC,” the star’s makeup artist Janice Daoud said in a release for the look. “Layering two different shades of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara added unique dimension and really brought out her eyes, while focusing on sculpting the lips gave that perfect polished, but effortless finish.” The singer’s brushed-out waves followed the same MO.

Emma Stone

After months of growing out her pixie, Stone is finally in her bob era. The Golden Globe nominee’s hairstylist Mara Roszak created this effortless style with movement to contrast the structure of the actor’s Louis Vuitton two-piece set. She added the piecey definition to her ends using the Evergreen Style Cream and Air Thickening Spray from her hair care line, RÕZ. Ahead of her pre-red carpet glam session, Schwarzkopf Professional U.S. Creative Director of Color & Technique, Tracey Cunningham, updated Stone’s hair color, giving her a “Soft Auburn” shade. Her makeup by Nina Park using Louis Vuitton beauty was equally fresh and simple, consisting of rosy tones and fluttery lashes.

The singer ditched her “365 party girl” undone waves for an Old Hollywood style. Her hairstylist hairstylist Matt Benns used TRESemmé’s A-list Collection to achieve the look. Prior to the red carpet, Jacob Schwartz, Schwarzkopf Professional U.S. hair color trend ambassador, ambassador refreshed her signature black hair, aptly calling the glossy shade “Brat Black.”

Tessa Thompson

When wearing an emerald green Balenciaga sequin gown, glossy mermaid waves are the only hairstyle option. “I started out by using the new SheaMoisture Silk Press Prep Cream on damp hair — when blow-drying textured hair, it’s important to protect it by creating a barrier between the hot tools and your hair, which can also help preserve your heat style for longer,” Thompson’s hairstylist Lacy Redway said in a release for the look. “Once the hair was dry, I used a wave iron to create texture. To finish, I used the SheaMoisture Bond Repair Amla Oil to break up the waves and create a more natural finish and shine.” Thompson’s soft yet bold layered eye was created by Alex Babsky using Sisley Paris’ Phyto-Eye Palette in Shade 2 Bois de Rose.

Sarah Snook

Snook’s skin looked positively radiant on the red carpet thanks to some expert skin prep. Her makeup artist Mary Wiles used a handful of G.M. Collin products, including the hydrating and soothing Biocellulose Facial Mask and brightening Bota-Peptides Eye Contour.

Ariana Grande

Grande might be wearing black, but her makeup is a nod to Wicked character. Makeup artist Michael Anthony used r.e.m. beauty makeup for her soft and romantic pinky-brown eye and winged liner. The actor’s hair is another signal her Glinda era is coming to a close. Grande’s darker brunette hue and high ponytail styled by Alyx Liu are reminiscent of her signature 2013 Yours Truly look.

Renate Reinsve

As if her sleek, center-parted hair wasn’t a giveaway, ‘70s Cher was the reference of the Golden Globe nominee’s beauty look. “Modern Cher-inspired eyes with soft definition and light-catching shimmer, set against clean, luminous, glowing skin and an effortless radiant glow,” Reinsve’s makeup artist Emily Cheng said in a statement. She used Armani makeup on the actor, including the newly reformulated Luminous Silk Foundation for a lit-from-within base and Lashify lashes as a final detail to make her eyes really pop. Prior to makeup, Cheng prepped the actor’s skin with a full suite of Allies of Skin products.

Chase Infiniti

Infiniti’s looks while promoting One Battle After Another have made her one to watch on the red carpet, and the Golden Globes is no exception. Her makeup artist Amber Dreadon added a fresh micro wing to her eyes and prepped her skin with Abib, while the actor’s waist-length textured blowout added a bit of drama. Hairstylist Coree Moreno achieved the look with the help of BELLAMI extensions and Olivia Garden brushes. For an extra shiny finish, Moreno worked L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic + Gloss High Shine Leave-In Hair Serum through her mid-lengths to ends.

Amanda Seyfried

Seyfried’s sculpted retro ‘30s-inspired updo is deserving of its own award. The Golden Globe nominee’s hairstylist Renato Campora crafted it with Joico hair care products and ghd hot tools, then spritzed a veil of Parfums de Marly Valaya Hair Perfume over the style as a finial touch. The actor’s makeup cleaned classic, too. After sculpting her face with NuFace Trinity+ and Vita Liberata’s Body Blur, makeup artist Melissa Hernandez added wispy lashes and a nude-pink lip.

Zoë Kravitz

Countless celebrities had the ‘60s on their red carpet beauty mood boards, including Kravitz. The actor wore her braids in a voluminous updo accessorized with a crystal hair pin. When creating the look, hairstylist Nikki Nelms used Cécred hair care, including the Nourishing Hair Oil for extra shine. The star coordinated her eye makeup with her blush pink Saint Laurent slip dress.

Kate Hudson

Hudson has the uncanny ability to put an effortlessly cool spin on the most classic beauty looks, and her low twisted bun styled by Peter Gray with Joico products is the latest example. Her makeup consisted of light rosy tones to balance out her silver gown. Makeup artist Tonya Brewer used Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Foundation and Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer to perfect her base for the subtle and fresh look.

Jenna Ortega

Ortega’s hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez was inspired by the textured details of her Dilara Findikoglu gown when creating her low, tousled updo. He used Rizos Curls products, like the Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray, to achieve the effortless style. The Wednesday star’s ‘90s monochromatic makeup by Mélanie Inglessis using rounded out the look. Her exact rosy-nude lip combo? Dior Beauty’s Rouge Dior Contour in 229 Rose Spice, Dior On Stage Lipstick in 390 Redwood Star, and Dior Glow Lip Oil in 081 Latte. For an extra sculpted complexion, Inglessis treated the Ortega’s skin with the Laduroa Lumeo SkinLift 4D Current Red Light Therapy Kit before applying color cosmetics.

Presenting the coolest way to wear shimmer on your eyes: Taylor’s silver eyeliner. With her kit stocked with Charlotte Tilbury makeup, Bella Mayven layered a chrome line directly under the actor’s black wing for a hint of sparkle. The One Battle After Another star’s now-signature curly pixie was finished off not with a hair oil or finishing spray, but a spritz of Initio Atomic Rose Hair Perfume. “[The perfume] is the last step before walking out the door, completing the final look, and bringing the story together,” her hairstylist Nikki Nelms said in a release for the style. Ahead of scenting her pixie, Nelms perfected Taylor’s curly texture with SheaMoisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus Define & Shine Styling Gel.

Rose Byrne

Byrne’s acceptance speech was unforgettable (who would’ve thought bearded dragons would get a shout-out at the Golden Globes), but the Best Actress winner’s power bob was just as memorable. Hairstylist Harry Josh coiffed it to perfection using KERASILK, including the Smoothing Blow Dry Cream for a sleek finish. Meanwhile, makeup artist James Molloy gave Byrne a fresh take on a classic red lip by opting for Chanel’s orange-red Rouge Coco Flash Hydrating Vibrant Shine Lip Colour in Beat and blurring the edges.

Leighton Meester

Meester’s elegant updo brought a little romance to her look. Hairstylist Clariss Rubenstein used Nexxus products, including the MVP Styler Multitasking Cream, and Bondi Boost tools to craft the style. Given the vibe of the hair, makeup artist Bethany McCarty stuck with blush pink tones, using Beauty Pie products on the star.

Wunmi Mosaku

The Sinners star’s sculptural updo deserves to be seen from all angles. Hairstylist Araxi Lindsey styled Mosaku’s twists using Lush products, including the Renee’s Shea Souffle.

Selena Gomez

The Only Murders in the Building star channeled Old Hollywood at the 2026 Golden Globes with her side-parted, loosely-waved bob and vampy red lip. Hairstylist Renato Campora achieved the retro style with the help of Joico products, including the Hold Hero High Hold + Shine Boosting Finishing Spray. Ahead of applying the perfect bold lip, makeup artist Hung Vanngo prepped Gomez’s skin for the red carpet with Dr. Althea skin care.

Mia Goth

In lieu of bouncy waves, Goth’s take on Old Hollywood glamour included subtle winged liner and a French twist updo complete with side bangs. Her makeup was created by Lilly Keys with Dior Beauty products, while hairstylist Sami Knight locked the hairstyle in place with L’Oréal Paris’ classic Elnett Satin Hairspray.

Lisa

The White Lotus star brought witchy glamour to the Golden Globes red carpet with her Jacquemus Spring/Summer 2026 gown, and her wispy bangs and waist-length waves added to the vibe.

Sheryl Lee Ralph

When it comes to red carpet hair inspiration, there’s one decade celebrities will never stop referencing – the ‘60s. Case in point: Ralph’s high ponytail with tons of volume at the crown. For a modern touch, she added a braid at the base and paired the style with sultry smudgy eyeliner.

Ayo Edebiri

Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock

Edebiri is one of the many celebrities who made 2025 the year of the bob. And if her trendy butterfly style created by Jacob Dillon using Olaplex is any indication, the cut will still be going strong in 2026. Makeup artist Ernesto Casillas leaned into the elegance of the star’s Chanel gown, opting to create an eye look in plum and mauve shades using Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in Tissé Rivoli.

Ana de Armas

Steve Granitz/FilmMagic/Getty Images

De Armas went classic with a hint of shimmer on the eyes and a glossy lip. Her makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis used Estée Lauder Essential Eyeshadow Quad in Money Moves and Pure Color Melt-On Glosstick in Melted Blush to achieve the look. For hair, Halley Brisker gave the star glamorous waves using Kristin Ess Blow Dry Mist and Heat Protectant Spray.
