The 2022 TZR Beauty Awards: The High/Low
Shimmering glosses, high-tech serums, masks that heal frazzled strands — the beauty industry doesn’t sleep when it comes to churning out new innovations. But with each new holy-grail discovery that changes our lives for the better, there are a slew of others that overpromise and underdeliver. For this year’s TZR Beauty Awards: The High/Low, we tasked our team of editors and staffers to test, swatch, and swipe hundreds of new launches across skin, hair, makeup, and body categories in order to spotlight the products that live up to their claims. Our expectations were astronomically high, and all of the winners we selected exceeded them when it came to efficacy, formulation, and payoff. In true High/Low fashion, you’ll find two winners for every category — one over $20 and one under $20 — and you can trust that both options will elevate your beauty routine, no matter your budget. We hope you discover a new favorite (or two, or three).
